With many races still undecided in the U.S. midterm elections, one thing is clear: the anticipated Republican red wave did not exactly materialize with the party making far fewer gains than anticipated, while the Democrats doing much better than many had expected.

Who will control the Senate also remains an open question, with the battle between NFL running back Herschel Walker and Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock likely headed to a December runoff vote.
