Abortion rights are a divisive topic in the discourse leading up to the first election since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

In Canada and the United States, 90 per cent of abortions take place in the first trimester. But in the U.S., some women have no choice but to wait longer now that access to safe abortions has been reduced.

Farah Nasser travelled to Colorado to meet Dr. Warren Hern, one of the few physicians specializing in late-term abortions, and hears how he's dedicated his career to women's reproductive rights.
