Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga is set to be the first world leader to visit US President Joe Biden on Friday. Reports suggest an increasingly assertive China will be a key theme of the talks. Japan is also a security ally of the United States and both have defined their relationship as a 'cornerstone of peace, security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.'
