US housing crisis: Low-income families priced out of Miami

House prices in the US are soaring, leaving many low- and middle-income families unable to afford a shrinking supply of homes as fewer are being built during the pandemic, due to a shortage of building materials.
businesses and the wealthy are relocating in droves to Miami, in the US state of Florida, attracted by lower taxes and sunnier weather.
That means a surging housing market - the median price for a single family home now well over $400,000.
Groups working to provide affordable housing are having an increasingly difficult time and first-time buyers are being priced out.
