The House of Representatives has overwhelmingly approved a bill giving its Chinese owner ByteDance six months to sell it, or face a ban. Many users consider it a source of news as well as entertainment and that's got American politicians worried about China using it as a propaganda tool. What's less clear is what the Senate will do.
