The US House of Representatives has approved a major military aid package for Ukraine, Taiwan, Israel and several other allies.
It had been held up for weeks because of divisions among Republicans on support for Ukraine.
But after being split into separate bills, it will now go to the Senate before being signed by President Joe Biden.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked the US House for passing the aid package.

Al Jazeera’s John Holman has more from the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.

Pavel Felgenhauer is a Defence and Military Analyst. He says the US aid package won't change much for Ukraine on the battlefield.
