Despite the energy crisis since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, US oil giant ExxonMobil has smashed financial forecasts. It recorded its highest quarterly profit at nearly $20bn.
The figure surpassed Wall Street’s expectations and stoked demands for the company to do more to lower fuel prices.
