US President Joe Biden has won South Carolina's Democratic primary.
In what appeared to be a victory statement, Mr Biden pledged to make Republican Donald Trump a "loser".
The vote marked the first official Democratic party primary ahead of this year's presidential election.
President Biden faced little competition for his party's nomination and was on track for an overwhelming victory in South Carolina.
The president recalled how South Carolina voters "breathed life" into his 2020 campaign and said he had "no doubt" they would set him on the path to winning the presidency in 2024.
