As the US presidential race tightens, Donald Trump's repeated attacks on mail-in ballots and his refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power have raised the specter of a disputed election. In several of the most decisive states, mail-in and early votes won't be counted until after the polls close, and many analysts expect that a significant number of those votes will be for Joe Biden. Counting those votes could take days, leaving the results up in the air. Trump has implied that he will try to stop the counting of mail-in ballots, threatening to take the issue to the Supreme Court if need be.
