US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has suggested America does not see "eye-to-eye" with Israel on the idea of a two-state solution.

Responding to a question from Sky's Mark Stone, Mr Miller said: "There needs to be a solution moving forward that addresses the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people, while providing security to the Israeli people."

He added that the US and Israel are "close friends" but "that doesn't mean we don't have disagreements with them along the way".
