The US congressional panel investigating last year's attack on the US Capitol has called on the Justice Department to bring criminal charges against former President Donald Trump.
The unprecedented move follows an exhaustive 18-month investigation into his role in the January 6th riot.
Trump denounced the charges as fake, and said it was an attempt to block his White House run in 2024.
