US auto workers ready to strike: Negotiating for higher pay & better benefits

In the US, some 150,000 members of autoworkers union have set a strike deadline of Thursday midnight.
They are demanding 40-percent wage increases, but automakers are only offering 10-percent.
The industrial action in 2019 sent the state of Michigan into a brief recession.
