उमेश पाल हत्याकांड मामले में माफिया अतीक अहमद को प्रयागराज की MP-MLA Court ने उम्रकैद की सज़ा सुनाई थी। सज़ा के बाद अतीक को वापिस साबरमती जेल ले जाया गया। इस मामले में योगी सरकार का बड़ा एक्शन देखने को मिला है। यूपी पुलिस ने अतीक अहमद को लेकर याचिका दायर की है जिसमें माफिया को गुजरात की साबरमती जेल से तिहाड़ जेल में शिफ्ट करने की बात कही है।

Mafia Atiq Ahmed was sentenced to life imprisonment by Prayagraj's MP-MLA court in the Umesh Pal murder case. After the sentence, Atiq was taken back to Sabarmati Jail.
