गोरखपुर में बाढ़ की चपेट से करीब 139 स्कूल जलमग्न हो गए हैं। हालांकि बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी के निर्देश के बाद गांव के ऊंचे व सूखे इलाकों में पंचायत भवन व घरों में पढ़ाई का इंतजाम किया जा रहा है। छात्रों को एक वैकल्पिक स्थान पर स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया है, जहां कक्षाएं संचालित की जा रही हैं।

In Gorakhpur, about 139 schools have been submerged due to the floods. However, after the instructions of the Basic Education Officer, arrangements are being made for education in the panchayat buildings and houses in the high and dry areas of the village. The students have been shifted to an alternate location, where classes are being conducted.
