'Unwise' for government to push Brexit deal through without vote

Mark Francois said it would be "incredibly unwise" for the government to "bludgeon" a Northern Ireland Protocol deal through parliament without a vote.

The chairman of the European Research Group said any meaningful changes to the protocol would require a bill.

He added that Rishi Sunak's position is "precarious" after a slump in political polling and that the Conservative Party is "divided."
