With health experts warning the upcoming flu season will be more intense than previous years, Canadians are being urged to get their flu shot.

Now there may be another reason to do so -- your next jab could prevent you from getting a stroke.

That’s according to researchers from the University of Calgary in a study that is now getting international attention.
