Uniform Civil Code : UCC लागू करने की तैयारी पूरी हो चुकी है.उत्तराखंड में विशेषज्ञ समिति का ड्राफ्ट जल्द ही विधानसभा में रखा जाएगा। बताया जा रहा है की सरकार विधानसभा सत्र बुला सकती है.और उस सत्र में धामी सरकार UCC लागू करने का ड्राफ्ट पेश कर सकती है.सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, ड्राफ्ट में लिव इन रिलेशनशिप के पंजीकरण का प्रावधान होगा। पूरा ड्राफ्ट महिला केंद्रित होगा। बताया ये भी जा रहा है कि, बहुविवाह प्रथा पर पूरी तरह से रोक लगेगी।
Preparations for implementing UCC have been completed. The draft of the expert committee in Uttarakhand will soon be placed in the Assembly. It is being told that the government can call an assembly session and in that session the Dhami government can present a draft to implement UCC. According to information received from sources, there will be a provision for registration of live-in relationships in the draft. The entire draft will be women-centric. It is also being told that the practice of polygamy will be completely banned.
