UN Special Rapporteur on counter terrorism warns not to repeat mistakes of 9/11 in the Gaza Strip

Hamas’s October 7th attack has been described as Israel’s 9/11 by US President Joe Biden.

While supporting Israel’s right to defend itself, he also publicly warned Prime Minister Netanyahu not to make the same mistakes the US did in response - a warning that was echoed today by the UN’s Special Rapporteur on Counter-terrorism and human rights.
