In Ukraine, Russia's war is ravaging not only property, but people. Drone and missile attacks, mines, and combat situations are leading to countless Ukrainians losing limbs.

That is where an organization called ‘Superhumans’ comes in, which has a goal of creating a new culture not of acceptance, but pride.

It's working to ensure amputees are set up to live full lives where they are envied for their bionic parts.

Global’s Crystal Goomansingh and cameraman Braden Latam were invited into the Superhumans' facility in Lviv to see the transformations firsthand.
