As Russia's assault on Ukrainians' homeland drags on, they've had to watch from around the world with feelings of horror and helplessness.

Now, imagine going through that while stranded in one of the world's loneliest places: Antarctica. That's what's happened for a group of Ukrainian scientists stuck at a remote research base on an Antarctic island.
