Ukraine officially celebrated Christmas last year, according to its new calendar on December 25th. But many Ukrainians didn't accept the changes and still celebrate Orthodox Christmas on January 7th. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which previously was accused of having ties with the Russian church, says it will continue to celebrate Christmas on January 7.
