Ukraine War: Vladimir Putin makes speech at Navy Day parade

Vladimir Putin made a speech at the annual Navy Day parade in St Petersburg, pledging 30 new ships for the navy and saying Russian sailors are "showing true heroism and fighting valiantly".

Mr Putin, accompanied by defence minister Sergei Shoigu, inspected some of the ships from a launch boat on the Neva River before addressing the crowds.
