Ukraine War: 'Over 150,000 children were deported unlawfully to Russia'- Ukrainian War

Reports of the unlawful deportation of children to Russia first emerged last spring. By February 2023, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin and his children's rights commissioner, Maria Lvova-Belova, accusing them of the war crime of deporting children.

The Russians claim they are saving children from war for humanitarian reasons.

Ukrainian MP Kira Rudik has described this practice as the "most distressing thing of the war" adding that is "hard to hold tears"
