While the Mayor of Mariupol remains defiant, Russia releases footage it claims shows Ukrainian troops surrendering.

Sky News has blurred the faces of the prisoners of war, in accordance with the Geneva Convention.

The Mayor says that ninety percent of the city, including schools and hospitals, has been completely destroyed.

Sky News has located the footage to an area of the city, but cannot verify the content of the Russian military video.
