Military analyst Sean Bell examines French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to China, joined by President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to speak with Chinese President, Xi Jinping.

Mr Macron said he wanted China to engage in a "shared responsibility for peace" in Ukraine, with reports he planned to urge Mr Xi to use his influence with Vladimir Putin.
