The US and UK have urged for caution over Russia's promise of peace talks to 'drastically reduce' combat operations in two key areas.

At least 12 people were killed, after the Russian rocket hit an office in the port of Mykolaiv and fierce fighting has continued in Mariupol.

The fate of the suburb of Irpin remains unclear, despite claims by Ukraine that it had retaken control.
