Former president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, spoke to Sky News from the Donbas, saying that while Ukraine had enough weapons to withstand Vladimir Putin it did not have sufficient to fully expel Russian troops and turn the tide of the war.

He called for weapons for offensive operations against Russia, saying that long-range missiles were needed to destroy logistics and ammunition depots across the border without taking "a single step" into Russian territory.
