Ukraine pleads for “weapons, weapons, weapons” as Russia quits UN Human Rights Council

Ukraine is repeating pleas for immediate military aid from NATO, which warns a devastating battle lies ahead for the Donbass region. The Donbass region of Ukraine is where there have been bursts of fighting with pro-Russia separatists since 2014.

Moscow recognizes the breakaway areas in the region as independent states, and now NATO says Russia is regrouping for a major offensive there.
