A horrific scene unfolded in western Uganda late Friday night, when suspected members of an extremist group attacked a local secondary school.

At least 41 people — including students — are reported dead, with several others abducted and possibly taken into neighbouring Congo, roughly two kilometers away.

As Global’s Reggie Cecchini reports, this latest attack is part of a string of assaults launched by rebels.
