Women’s middle-distance running has been overshadowed recently by the ban on female athletes with high testosterone levels.
But while the issue has sidelined a number of top competitors like Caster Semenya, runners such as Uganda's Halimah Nakaayi have taken an opportunity to step into the spotlight.
