Two Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in air strike on Jenin refugee camp in Occupied West Bank

Whenever Israeli forces enter a Palestinian refugee camp or a village, people become increasingly agitated and many may become more hardened.

Israel says it is targeting Hamas operatives. According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, these raids have resulted in the detention of many Hamas members or supporters, as well as young people with no affiliation to the group.

The raids will not improve the situation here, where emotions are already high. This is because people here closely follow the situation in Gaza. For some, the situation there hits close to home as they have relatives in the Strip.

The raids and restrictions on Palestinian movement are further inflaming the situation. The situation could explode at any moment.
