Israel and Turkey are restoring full diplomatic ties after years of discord, and both countries will be re-appointing ambassadors.
The move comes after gradual efforts to restore ties, including a visit by the Israeli president to Turkey in March.
The Turkish foreign minister says that, despite the rapprochement, Turkey would not be abandoning its support for Palestinians.
