Tory donor John Caudwell founded the mobile retailer Phones 4u in 1987 and sold it within two decades for £1.45bn.

He backed Liz Truss to become prime minister but admits she was "the devil that I didn't know" and her premiership had not had the best start.

The philanthropist also told Kay Burley what his top advice was for budding entrepreneurs, and opened up about housing a Ukrainian family.
