Protesters in New York City braced for a possible indictment of former president Donald Trump over a charge related to an alleged hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign.
Trump supporters in Palm Beach, Fla. rallied against what they called a "witch hunt" by Democratic opponents ahead of the possible indictment by the Manhattan District Attorney.
In New York, a small group of protesters called for authorities to condemn Trump, yelling out chants of "Indict! Guilty!"
It would be the first-ever criminal case against any U.S. president.
