Trump arrives in New York ahead of arraignment amid mixed reaction from public

Former U.S. president Donald Trump arrived in New York on Monday afternoon ahead of his expected arraignment to face charges, stemming from a probe into hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Supporters of Trump lined the roads in Palm Beach County and outside the airport in West Palm Beach, Fla., as his motorcade passed by, waving flags in support of the former president.

After arriving in Queens, N.Y., his motorcade drove him to Trump Tower where he will spend the night before heading to court the following day.

Outside Trump Tower and the courthouse, people gathered both in support and against the former president. Some called for his release, with others saying there was worse crime to deal with in the city, while opponents said they hoped "this one will stick and that he will be found guilty."
