By winning a sizeable number of seats in the Hyderabad municipal election, the BJP has put the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in a spot, leaving them with no choice but to seek AIMIM's support to elect a mayor. Uma Sudhir spoke to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter and senior TRS leader K Kavitha who said the BJP confused voters by "parading" its leaders and making false promises. She said the TRS has now understood that the BJP's tactics and that it will stay one step ahead. She said her party is not weak and that it is ready to fight back. "The rest of the country can learn from the TRS," she said.
