Trials for progressive MS to be launched

A world-first clinical trial for progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) treatments will launched in the UK later this year.

The MS Society aim to be able to evaluate new treatments more quickly by testing them together, and by combining trial phases.

There are currently no treatments that can halt the condition, which leads to progressively severe disability.
