Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria have to vacate hotels in holiday regions. And there are difficulties with integration.
They fled from Ukraine: millions of people have been uprooted since the war begun. About 100.000 fled to Bulgaria, 60.000 of them were sheltering in hotels along the coastline of the Black Sea. But just ahead of the summer season, the government has been reducing compensation to hotel owners. Tens of thousands of refugees must be relocated within Bulgaria. Meanwhile the issue of Ukrainian refugees is increasingly polarising the country. Fanny Facsar reports from Burgas, Bulgaria.
