At least one possible tornado and several apparent funnel clouds ripped across parts of eastern Texas and Louisiana on Wednesday, as severe storms rolled across the region.
At least one person has been injured when the windows in a home were reportedly blown out in Lake Charles, La., but there have been no deaths reported so far.
In at least one other situation in Texas, a guard shack was reportedly flung into the air with someone inside. Rescue crews were eventually able to get the person out. The person's condition is not known at this time.
The storms left people in parts of both states without power.
