Trade and equalities secretary of state Kemi Badenoch outlines to Sky News Conservative plans to "clarify" how the Equality Act 2010 refers to "biological sex" - rather than "legal sex" or gender identity.

The law clarification would not have any baring or give instruction to sporting bodies around competition at events or games, she said.
