The number of Omicron patients in India ticked up to 38 with Kerala reporting its first case of the new variant. Five fresh cases surfaced - one each in Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra and Kerala; thousands of farmers are on their way home in the villages of Punjab and Haryana after dismantling their makeshift accommodations at protest sites on the borders of Delhi, ending their year-long agitation against the contentious farm laws and other top stories.
