Sky News understands that TikTok is to be banned from UK government phones over security concerns about the Chinese-owned app.

Former intelligence analyst at GCHQ Julian Richards told Sky News that it was "complicated" and a "massive" move that takes us into "dangerous territory longer term" with China.
