Discussion on the current political and economic scenario: General election may be delayed by new census

General elections in Pakistan, due to take place later this year, will be held using a new census, possibly delaying the elections several months.

Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar told Private TV Channel on Saturday it could take about four months to complete the process of a census and draw new constituency boundaries.

PTI chief granted B class in Attock jail

Punjab Home Department on Sunday approved B class in Attock Jail for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman.

According to the prison sources, PTI chairman has been given all the facilities under B class and kept in Barrack No 3 under B class in the jail.

The PTI chairman is allowed to have his family in the jail one day a week.

The PTI chief spent the first night in the high security barracks of Attock jail and was given dinner and breakfast according to the prison manual.

The former prime minister was given a slice of bread, fried and boiled egg for breakfast along with butter and tea after Fajr prayer.
