The Alberta Sovereignty Within a United Canada Act has received mixed reactions. Constitutional experts say the proposed legislation is undemocratic as it grants sweeping powers to the provincial cabinet, while critics say it’s not necessary in the first place.

And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed strong interest in joining NATO and the European Union, but for now his main priority is putting an end to Russia’s invasion.
