Watch The UK Tonight with Jonathan Samuels as it felt like the first day at school for many of the Labour MPs making their way to Westminster today. They were greeted by Sir Keir Starmer - the Prime Minister fresh from a whistle-stop tour of the UK.

But once the class photos were done, the scale of the task at hand was all too apparent for the new Government - ahead of the official reopening of Parliament tomorrow.

The economy, housing and the state of the NHS were just some of the policy areas under scrutiny - as our Deputy Political Editor, Sam Coates, reports
