Cordelia Lynch speaks to the hostage negotiator who was at the centre of talks to free Thais held captive in Gaza.

Some 19 Thai nationals have been released by Hamas as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel.

But 39 were also killed by militants during the 7 October attacks - the highest number of deaths of any nationality besides Israel.

Dr Lerpong Sayed represented a Thai Shia Muslim group that took part in the talks.

He discusses how the group approached the negotiations, and why Hamas decided to free the Thai hostages.
