Thailand’s upper house has continued to meet, despite protests.
Senators are facing mounting pressure to endorse the leader of the Move Forward party as Prime Minister.
More than 20 members of the Senate said they will endorse Pita Limjaroenrat.
But that is far from the sixty it is thought he will need.
