Hundreds of protesters marched on the Government House in Bangkok, Thailand to demand President Prayut Chan-o-cha resign as anger mounts over the worsening COVID-19 pandemic and chaotic vaccine rollout.

Thai police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse protesters as they attempted to dismantle a police barricade.

Monday’s events were the latest in a series of demonstrations that have led to violence, including the use of rubber bullets, to disperse protesters.
