Tech turbulence: Glitches cause Air Canada flight delays, disruptions to RBC online banking

Air Canada warned its customers to expect ongoing delays Friday as it continued to deal with the "rollover effects" from a technical issue that caused widespread disruptions across the company's network.

The airline said a problem with the system used to communicate with and monitor aircraft caused delays and, in some cases, cancellations.

But Air Canada wasn't the only Canadian company dealing with tech turbulence this week.
The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) said Thursday a technical issue had impacted online and mobile banking.
