Canadian women are leading the way at the Tokyo Olympic Games, as Team Canada nabs its first set of silver medals during the women's swimming events.
Athletes Penny Oleksiak, Rebecca Smith, Maggie MacNeil and Kayla Sanchez managed to score their silver medals in the women's freestyle relay – while Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu and Jennifer Abel nabbed more hardware for Canada during women's synchronized diving.
And as Crystal Goomansingh explains, the achievements are also putting Oleksiak into the Olympic elite, as one of Canada's most decorated summer Olympians.
